The AVARC defines itself as an education and public service organization whose goal is to reflect the club's values and interests by providing interesting and useful information to our visitors concerning club activities, special events, and ham radio information in general.

AVARC does monthly programs on topics related to amateur radio, and the use of this technology in public service.  Volunteer Examiner testing is done on a monthly basis, as well as periodic licensing and elmering classes.
