Ham Radio Club involved in emergency communications.  Interests in QRP code communications and new digital modes. Participates in ARRL Field Day event. VE testing. HF DXing. We also participate in Winter Field Day.Testing is available upon request if needed.  Our current test sessions are held the second Saturday of each month at the Oneonta Public Library at 9:00 AM  We have changed to  complete digital testing which gives rapid results for the testee. One can sign up for a regular test session at arrl.org.  An FRN number is required but is easily obtained online.

We are continually doing our best to improve "our brand".  We welcome new members always.  We are trying to implement more activities and learning.  There is a lot to do as we try to improve as a club responsive to our membership.  We strive to be a friendly club.

We sponsor a hamfest, the annual Freezefest, which is always the fist Saturday after New Year's Day.  This is usually a well atended event.  This event is usually held at Locust Fork High School, 77 School Road, Locust Fork, AL, 35097.

We have recently placed a MeshCore repeater on our club tower and we are currently working on this.  Our area, being somewhat hilly requires more repeater saturation.
