SARU provides: Amateur Radio classes, ARRL VEC testing sessions for all license classes, School projects, Pico Balloons, High Altitude Balloons, Field Day participation, ARES participation, Fox Hunts and much more.
We have two (2) major club projects this club year:
* SARU Mobile Communications Platform (MCP) is a Bus fitted with Amateur Radio to be used for School Projects, Club Events (Field Day, POTA, Festivals, Emergencies and more).
* Pico Balloon School launches allowing students to supplement Earth Science class learning with real life, hands on real time reporting from 40,000 feet and above!
