The Southern Peninsula Amateur Radio Klub (SPARK - W4QR), Hampton, VA promotes amateur radio comraderie, technical knowledge, and service to the region.
In 2026 we have on schedule a monthly Shack Day, that includes hands-on events and station operation - portable, POTA, home based, etc,.
Monthly meetngs consist of a standard agenda, followed by a presentation based on technology, innovation, effective operating, or Field Day.
We operate the 146.730 MHz / 100 Hz and 444.55 MHz / 100 Hz repeaters in the city.
We are active on Field Day in conjunction with the Hampton Public Service Team (W4HPT), the Peninsula Amateur Radio Club (W4MT) and the Newport News Amateur Communications Team (NNACT).
